Customer Success Consultant
Consulting, full-time
The Success League is an established customer success consulting and training firm headquartered in San Francisco. We are looking for new consultants to join our growing team in 2021. Successful candidates will embody our values of professionalism, diversity, drive, creativity, and empathy, and will have strong prior leadership experience in the customer success field.
Reports to: CEO
Minimum experience: 5 years experience in customer success, with at least two roles in CS people management

Responsibilities
work directly with clients on projects ranging from CS team assessment and program development, to training and coaching
establish relationships with decision-makers inside client organizations and expand projects as appropriate for their business
using your strong CS network, sell consulting and training engagements to new customers
work with The Success League to build new consulting and training offerings
represent The Success League at online and in-person events
serve as a substitute instructor for The Success League’s public training classes
travel (as possible and as needed) to client sites to lead workshops on various topics at both the practitioner and leadership level
meet regularly with The Success League team to share ideas and discuss current projects
manage your pipeline of prospects, customers, and projects from a revenue standpoint using Salesforce
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business. MBA preferred.
proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals, both as a leader and a practitioner
managed a team of 8+ CSMs through all phases of management: hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and termination
experience with all major CS touchpoints: kick-off calls, strategic business reviews, driving adoption, regular outreach to decision maker, selling, renewal
management-level experience with CRM solutions, ideally Salesforce
uses data to inform both leadership decisions and specific tactical initiatives
experience leading cross-functional teams through major change initiatives
demonstrates executive-level communication skills: verbal, written, presentations, strategic planning, networking
comfortable discussing difficult topics with senior executives
understands when to escalate an issue to the next level
has experience keeping client projects on track, and has systems for communicating project status on a regular basis
demonstrates the highest standards of ethics in their professional life both at work and across their network
has the internal drive to work from home and be just as productive as when working in an office
balances a busy schedule with the need to recharge
able to travel up to 25% (as travel becomes safe)
